Hawaii State Women’s Golf Association
       2007 Stroke Play Championship plus USGA Women's State Team Qualifier
               July 31-August 2nd (Tuesday-Thursday) at Mid-Pacific CC
     
Eligibility:        Amateur women with handicap index of 11.2 or less as of 7/1/07.     
                         All play will be scratch.
        
Times:              First tee time on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday will be around 9:00 am.
                        Pairings will be at MPCC or check www.hswga.org by July 20th.
                  
Entry fee:        $150.00 (includes green fees, luncheon & prizes) to be submitted by 
                         July 28th. Shared cart is $39 and full cart is $78 for three days.
                  
Qualifier:   Tuesday, July 31st will be a qualifier for the USGA Women's Team Championship at 
                        The Club at Carlton Woods, The Woodlands, Texas on Sept. 18-20.   Three women/girls 
                        will be selected for the Hawaii State Team.  The Hawaii State Women's Golf Foundation 
                        will provide a $1,000 travel stipend for each qualifier.   NCAA rules prohibit girls on 
                        college golf teams from participating.   If you want to participate in the qualifier only
                         on Tuesday, July 31st...send in $40 plus cart fee.  The USGA Women's Team 
                        Championship is a high quality event run like  their Public Links or Junior Girls tournament.
                     
Entries can be submitted now.  There are a limited number of tee times available!
There is no practice round include with entry fee.   All entries will be subject to the approval of 
the tournament committee.  Pupu Award ceremony will be Thursday following the round.
