Hawaii State Women's Golf Association
Match Play Championship 2008
August 13-15 at Oahu Country Club

Eligibility:  Amateur women with handicap index of 14.9 or less as of August 1, 2008.  All play will be at scratch.  Top 16 qualifiers will play.  If there is a tie for the last qualifying spot, at sudden death play-off will be played immediately following the qualifying round.

Times:  Wednesday (8/13) 8:00am Qualifying Round
                                        1:00pm First Round-16 Qualifiers
            Thursday (8/14)    8:00am Second Round-8 Quarterfinalists
                                        1:00pm  Third Round-4 Semifinalist
             Friday (8/15)       7:00am  Final Round-2 Finalist

Dress Code:  Please be advised of the following dress code for Oahu Country Club.  Allowed:  Suitable dress, muumuu, skirt blouse; shorts of proper length (5" inseam or appropriately above the knee); slacks, including jeans (no rips, tears or holes.)  Not Allowed:  Slippers or go aheads or teva like rubber sandals; short shorts and jogging outfits; skin tight shorts, leggings or pants; tank tops and bathing suits.

Entry:  $75.00 (includes green fees, luncheon & prizes) to be submitted by August 4th.  No refunds after August 8th.  There is no practice round included in fee.  Carts are optional at $13 per round.  All entries will be subject to the Tournament Committee.  Lunch will be Wednesday following the qualifying round.  Guest lunches can be purchased for $14, please order by 8/11.  Checkes should be made payable to HSWGA and mailed with entry to Wendy Smith, P.O.
